KangTa, BoA, TVXQ!, dominated 22 awards in China

KangTa, BoA, TVXQ! and other SM Entertainment artists were given 22 awards in China.Last September 24, at 6 pm in the Beijing Great Hall of the People, the "Korean Wave China - 2006 Awards" took place. KangTa, BoA, TVXQ! and other artists under SM Entertainment hold the record for winning 22 awards, which proved once again that they are the pioneers of Korea Wave.Lee Soo Man and BoA were chosen as 2 of the 30 most influential people.In the "Most Popular Song" category, TVXQ!'s "Rising Sun" and "HUG" and H.O.T.'s "Hope" and "Candy" won. Even in the "Most Popular Advertisement Model" category, TVXQ! and H.O.T. won. "The Most Popular Female and Male Singers" awards were given to BoA and KangTa. For "The 10 Most Popular Group" category, TVXQ!, H.O.T., Super Junior and KangTa&Vanness were chosen.Also, the "Ideal Man" category was awarded to the 5 members of TVXQ! and Super Junior member Han Kyung. All 22 awards were monopolized by SM Entertainment artists.The awarding ceremony was organized by the Economic Development Association and Chinese Economic Newspaper Publishing Company to commemorate the 15th Anniversary of Korea-China relations. The 25 awards covered 8 categories (Influence, Music, Image, Business, Sports, Video, People and Games) and in each category, the Top Ten were selected.
