Tohoshinki, or rather Dong Bang Shin Ki, has proved themselves to be the top idol group among Japanese teen girls as a whopping 96% of them recognised the group’s pre-release album, ‘T’.
The survey was carried out by Oricon Charts, which processes data from over 3000 Japanese retail music outlets. The high name recognition of Tohoshinki’s album is said to have significant impact on the album’s sales.
Tohoshinki is also slightly better known among Japanese teenage boys, following the group’s collaboration with sexy Japanese songstress, Koda Kumi.
