From January 17 to 23, music site JukeOn held a survey that asked “Which idol group are you most looking forward to in 2008?” A total of 5,542 Netizens voted and out of them, 2,085 (37.13%) voted for TVXQ, which placed the Oricon chart-topper group at the top spot. Close behind TVXQ was BIG BANG, who ranked 2nd with 1,899 (34.27%) votes. By February, the group will be concentrating on doing promotions in Japan.
The girls who infected Korea with the “Tell Me syndrome” placed 3rd with 996 (17.97%) votes. Wonder Girls is scheduled to come back to the music scene in May with its new single album.
Shinhwa, with 396 (7.15%) votes, and SS501, with 193 (3.48%) votes, ranked 4th and 5th, respectively.
